Prompt response from KakaSaku community challenge. Prompt was animal balloons.
This was actually swiped from my planned (and yes unwritten) opening for the DID!Sakura story. I've been doing more research and planning then any actual writing. While I have the basics of the story and an over-all story arc, the actually story itself has been giving me trouble. But that could also be because I'm more focused on A SOLDIER's Weapon and Oiroke no Sakura right now. I may as well see if the prompts help with getting things going. I've never worked with drabble prompts like this before, so it should be interesting.
Sakura stared at the girl in the mirror.
Brown dye had been scrubbed into the roots of naturally pink hair. Hair that had also been carefully styled, layered and spiked. Her clothing, less practical battle wear and more civilian ninja-wannabe chic, was more disheveled then her hair as the target did things, possibly pleasurable things, to the girl in the mirror.
Sakura slid combed her hand through the target's dark hair, and pressed her fingers into the base of his skull. Her free hand twisted in the sheets to hide the half-seals she was forming as she lightly slid her chakra under the target's skin. He groaned softly in pleasure.
The girl in the mirror arched her back in response. Feminine moans filled the room and green eyes narrowed until Sakura could barely see the tableau laid out in the mirror, but she didn't let it distract her.
Medic nin were rarely called upon to do assassination missions, but when they were it was usually a matter where Konoha must not be implicated in any way, or even the fact that the death was anything but a tragic accident. With something like this only the best would do.
Sakura gently weakened the walls of the blood vessels that fed the brain. Not too much. He wouldn't die today. Or tomorrow. Maybe next week. Possibly longer as the blood pulsing against the weakened wall with each beat of the target's heart driving him closer to death formed an aneurysm until eventually the small bubble would burst, like a balloon animal whose head had been twisted too tight, flooding the brain with blood and killing the target.
Sakura wished Kakashi had been available to act as her support for this mission, and yet, she was grateful that he hadn't been. She knew that she wouldn't want to see the girl in the mirror when he looked at her.
