Weapon, finishing this up. About four more chapters left. (Don't believe me, I've been saying this since Chapter 8).

Amnesia, working on this when I'm not working on Weapon. I have it all plotted out to the end, but struggling with time and words.

Research:

Oiroke no Sakura, honestly I know practically nothing about trans* or LGBT, I really want to tell this story but I really don't want to fuck it up either. So, yeah, research before I can write more.

Original:

I really like the world from In the Seraglio of the Second Flower and want to spend more time here. There was a lot more stuff hinted at  and in my head that never made into this short piece that I think deserves a longer look. The Naruto character's that will probably not stay, or at least not as a direct import like with the original AU story.

 Sorry, I don't have anything ready yet to post. I've been going through and writing the first draft by hand of several stories. I don't know when I'll have something ready to publish. Hopefully soon, but I suck at predicting finish dates. So, I'll just leave off with another thank you all for your patience. And a teaser:

KakaSaku Big Bang Challenge based on serenitytouched 's It's Natural to be Afraid

AN: I am sorry that I didn't get this out in time for the challenge. My life as imploaded. First my computer crashes, and when I get it back several stories are missing large chunks that are not recoverable, including this one, Oiroke no Sakura, and A SOLDIER's Weapon. Then work goes into massive mandatory overtime. While it's great for my paycheck, it also means I can't write anything. Because of strained tendons (not carpal tunnel thankfully) I can only write a limited number of hours a week and am required to sit out certain days, work is taking up all of it!  I really wanted to wait to have the completed fic to post, but since I don't know when it will be completed I thought it might be better to post something then nothing. I hope everyone enjoys the intro, rest assured that finishing this up is first on my list after the insanity at work dies down.

 So I got a review today that got me to thinking, and rather then PMing the reviewer directly with loads of crap that they would probably find uncomfortable or squicky, I decided to post here for you poor suckers...er, readers, waiting on the next chapter of Weapon Edit: I'm sorry, please ignore this, apparently my sense of humor when I'm tired is horrible and inappropriate. (which I expect will be up by Tuesday or Wednesday, yay!)

Meta: Materia Sciences, Game Mechanics, ShinRa Military

I found an old flash drive with some notes from a Sailor Moon Senshi/Shitennou fic. I personally love the dynamics and had done a fair amount of background work detailing the positions and duties of the various general/kings.

Kunzite: Leader (duh) but as the tactical adviser is more of an equivalent to Sailor Mercury.

Zoicite: personal bodyguard, equivalent to Sailor Jupiter. He was an actor, which back in the day when even men played the female roles, specialized in leading ladies (this is inspired by the anime where he often dresses as a female) and in situations where Prince Endymion's guard needs an unobtrusive presence would dress as his "date." He would have had an entire female persona worked out to this end.

Nephrite: spiritual adviser, equivalent to Sailor Mars.

Jaedite: I never could find a good word to describe his position, but as he often worked with crowds and large groups I feel that this is also related to his position under the Earth Kingdom as managing crowds, like a cross between a PR manager and intelligence. Mina of all the Senshi seems to be best related to this type of work as well.

The story I had planned had some back and forth between modern day and the Silver Millennium, but I only ever wrote this little ficlet introducing them in the modern setting and setting up a foursome with Kunzite, Zoicite, Minako, and Ami. It's a little inconsistent with some of the Japanese/DIC names. but I still like the basic idea and don't want to lose it (again). So, I'm posting it here.

 Prompt response from KakaSaku community challenge. Prompt was animal balloons.

This was actually swiped from my planned (and yes unwritten) opening for the DID!Sakura story. I've been doing more research  and planning then any actual writing. While I have the basics of the story and an over-all story arc, the actually story itself has been giving me trouble. But that could also be because I'm more focused on A SOLDIER's Weapon and Oiroke no Sakura right now. I may as well see if the prompts help with getting things going. I've never worked with drabble prompts like this before, so it should be interesting.
